Guys,

I was a bit disappointed there were no "special" GT2 colours (Riviera Blue would have been nice!) and so struggled with colour choice. Having recently had Guards Red, RS Orange and Viper Green I felt a change was in order.

In the end I went for:

Carrera White
Black Painted Wheels
Bucket seats
Yellow Belts
Carbon Pack

I would have ordered ClubSport pack had this been my only car but the 997GT3RS is staying as my track tool - the GT2 will be the everyday cruiser!

I have ordered the central console painted white but was thinking of getting it yellow as a contrast!! I was also considering Yellow stitching?? Pulling the whole yellow caliper thing into the car??

I wish I could do a Screen grab from the Porsche GT2 configurator as I would like some opinions on it - but I'm not that techy!

What do you guys think of the spec? ...and of the possible interior options?

What is everyone else ordering??

God the thing looks HOT in white, I would leave the center console in white.
Other than that you have a damn gorgeous car coming.

Don't have Canadian specs yet. I think I will order GT metallic, I wish there were special colors too.

 

Looks good i would so the center console in carbon to match the seats and would do they yellow stitching

 

I think the GT2 will look amazing in most any color! That being said, I think white is beginning to be overdone a little. If that's the color you really want, then by all means. But if it were me [which it isn't], I would want to do something different.

 

Another thing you could do with the white, is to get Martini Stripes to change it up a bit. Someone did that to their GT3RS and it looked amazing!

Black will look the best, just a pita for a daily driver.

 

I think any of the colors will look great in the GT2, so pick whatever you like most. However, I would say skip the yellow center console and use yellow for only stiching and seat belts.

 

Read on another board that in US at least no paint to sample. I heard you could get it in UK....now the options are quite interesting. Maybe instead of white, do a linen grey or something a bit old school...

Avoid yellow sticthing/console...

I'd stick with white console and maybe add white stitching. Only issue is that lighter color stitching gets dirty and is tough to clean!

 

 

i really think im going to spec Speed yellow i wanted fly yellow or mexic/ or rivera blue but the wont do so i am told
