Future guesses about the 2009 GT3
HORSEPOWER: Since Porsche is relatively conservative, going from 381 crank in the 2004 GT3 to 416 in the 2007 GT3, that approximately 9% difference would mean the 2009 GT3 would have about 453 bhp.
According to Car and Driver - "The direct-injection technology from the Cayenne is making its way into the 911 range, and we're looking forward to Porsche's first application of its new DSG - just one perk of owning a significant chunk of the VW/Audi group that cooked up the dual-clutch system." So that might explain the hp increase or a larger 3.8L engine, as well as the long-awaited DSG transmission.
WEIGHT: About the same, although the 2004 GT3 was lighter than the 2007 GT3, they are all about 3,000 lbs - should be same for 2009.
APPEARANCE: Since Porsche provides continuity of overall appearance in its different series (e.g., 993,996,997), the current 911 spy photos shoud give you some idea of the 2009 facelift. Note different configuration of headlights and LED lights.
