I dont own a Porsche just yet but im thinking of a GT3 in the next few weeks. can somone point me in the right direction? whats the diffrence of 996 and the 997? is that the car code like the 7 series is an E65?

My budget would be somwhere near 75k would that get me anything close to a GT3?

btw heres some pictures of my 7 series and Supra.

But totally different cars mechanically.

Post the ones you are looking at, the guys should tell you which to buy or not, and will raise red flags if there are any.

You are looking for a GT3 as winter starts. That's not going to be much fun. Your should be able to find a 996 in that range.

Thanks for the welcome guys! yes winter is around the corner thats why im thinking i could get a better deal now then wait for summer to roll around.

Im here to learn. im trying to figure out all the diffrence from a gt2 and gt3 996 to 997. its a bit confusing but im sure ill catch on soon.
