2002 GT2 - what's it worth
I traded my 2003 GT2 (seal grey/black) with 8,813 milese on it in stock configuration (except for GIAC controller with 91, race and stock programs) this past April when my RS came in, they gave me $105K. I tried to sell it with many quailty mods for 4 months in the $125K range and went as low as $118K on a counter offer. Ultimately I put it back to stock and took the dealers offer. Since all the parts were quality, they were easily sold and generated about $20K net of cost to return to stock.
So seems like a 2002 car with 9K miles at $95K is a very fair deal, and after looking around the net this weekend I would say about right. To get a GT2 with low miles for that kind of money is unbelievable, they are awesome cars!

I paid $110 at a dealer for a CPO 2002 with just over 10k about five months ago.
Happy with the deal I got, though I'll admit it's frustrating to see now if I'd held out a little longer I could have gotten a better deal.
Still, it's an awesome car - I just need to learn to stop looking at cars after I buy one.

Supercup, what kind of mods did you have and what were you able to sell versus not sell? I have a 2002 (silver/black) with a little over 10k miles and am doing a lot of mods. I'm concerned about resale value if I ever need to sell the car. It seems $105k from a dealer trade-in isn't too bad, considering its the dealer. Thanks.
I left the GIAC in as it would not transfer and the carbon air outlet as it cost $300 and would net about zero to take it out. Everything else that came off the car was sold within 3-4 months at about 40% - 60% of the original price.

95k is a fair deal for both parties. You might get $100k waiting for the right non 6speed buyer.
Re mods, the nicer the car (both condition and model) that is modded, the higher the discount rate.

$105K from the dealer was a very good offer considering the only action I got was from people looking to pay $100K - $110K with all the mods. Mods included carbon mirrors, carbon nose air outlet piece, 2004 GT2 wheels, Moton's, GMG roll bar (powdercoated grey to match car), Cup car steel brakes, 2 sets of pads and rotors, GIAC controller (stock, 91 and race programs), Europipe Stg II exhaust, Ruf pedals, 6 pt harness both seats (and related hardware), Porsche child seat with airbag deactivation kit installed, clear film, cover. I was offering the car for $125K with all mods and all stock parts included included brand new PCCB brakes and factory exhaust.
