What IF?

Suddenly, you decide to get a Turbo...go to the dealer and they give you an option, no addl. charge; delete the 4 wheel drive and PSM. Same price! Let's speculate on how many people would take that option? Interesting? BTW-no sunroof if desired....

There is still other differences. More HP, suspension, standard ceramics, etc. It's like GT2 lite. Or should I say, GT2 HEAVY.

Mark,

It sounds like you are pondering a Turbo Sport model. It should cost less than a turbo without the 4 wheel drive, etc. It would give you a good chunk of the GT2 experience for much less money. That is precisely why it would never happen. Similar to why they don't put the 3.8 997 motor in the Cayman.

Form and Function both must follow Marketing.

Now that is unless you want to do some MARKeting and create this Turbo stripper in you laboratory.

Sign me up for a test drive.

thought about that one

Knowing how ****/retentive 6 Speeders and Club members are, they would get all bent on my bastardization....even if the price was right. I should come up with some software/suspension package though. You know, after that, removing the front drive would save a fair amount of the weight difference....THAT roof, gotta go too. I've done that on GT#'s already. happy HOLIDAYS, YA'ALL-mArK AND PHATT QUARTER PANELS,,,and THE REAL SLEEPER of the decade...997 with CGT drivetrain, turbocharged of course...luv those cans going up and down.
