GIAC 997GT3 & GT3RS Software Released
GT-3 RS Software
GIAC finally came out with their software. It looks like they did one program for the GT-3 and the RS. The RS rev's faster and with the addition of the light weightflywheel it has a significant impact on engine performance. With the light weight flywheel Porsche's stock map is different in the RS from the GT-3. I chose the REVO programmable software because you drive the car and review engine performance parameters. You can see exactly how much timing, fuel etc. your engine can take. We made several adjustments to the timing.Real world actual conditions. I know with headers, we were able to make more aggressive adjustments. Throttle speed was considerably improved (faster throttle response). My motor really woke up with a more robust sound and feel. Shifting was quicker with the more responsive throttle. When that cam comes on, it's a wild child ! It's nice to tune your car individually and I liked that method with the REVO Software. You can see the list of data your ECU put's out. I tuned for 91 octane. 100 octane program to follow. That will be your final limiting factor. All you guys will like the ECU upgrade. It was needed. Best to all, Steve
No NA car ever makes that much!
vincentdds I do not think this software is offering 60 rwhp gain. That would be an astronomic new record for a NA motor.
They do not seem to state their baseline (stock) power.
This looks good but I feel we need more detail. Up to the present ECU software changes have yielded 5 to 6 rwhp only for the GT3/RS.
We should demand more specific details as to the gains.

Try it out with Jesse and see what you think...
My bad. I was looking at another Mustang Dynograph showing the stock ECU doing 340rwhp and yours showed 407rwhp.
Hey Alex I or Jesse can get this software through you? Also can there be any compatibility issues with my FVD set up?
Other than that if there's 10 to 15 rwhp gain it would $1,000 well spent. Also looking at the Motons right now and pump this bad boy up a little more.
Cheers and enjoy the holidays,
GT3Ranger...Juan

Happy holidays to you! Not sure what the exact set up you have? FVD cats/headers and stock center?
Motons when set up right are great step up that's for sure
Had them on my tack C2, on both my 996TTs...
