Couldn't get a GT2 either after buying 24 new turbos since 1976, no allocation for my dealer. I will buy a ZR1, it's faster anyway. Can keep my 997TT and have a ZR1 for the same money they want for a GT2 with only 530 horsepower.

Can you get a ZR1? I can see it being equally as bad for dealers hosing.

Sometimes I wonder where the dealers get there business sense. They would rather make a homerun on one car and risk losing a good customer who would possibly buy numerous cars over the years. This has happened to me many times and I am tired of the **** they pull.I won't deal with dealers like that anymore. The people I deal with are willing to give me a hot car at MSRP knowing I buy numerous cars each year. These are the dealers who will stay in business much longer and over the long run make more money.Being a Lambo nut I think you car is stunning.Good luck with it. I promise you the first GT2 tanked in price and this one will do the same over the years.200 plus for the GT2 is too much especially when you can mod a 911 Turbo for a hell of a lot less and get a quicker car.Just my 2 cents.

This is so sad. Personally, while I've driven 911's for 25+ years (plus lots of other quasi-exotics, as we called them back in the day), I personally find this tragic, while at the same time sadly understandable (Thanks, Mr. Weideking). Congrats to you, drive and enjoy your ZR1, and assess the future when the future presents itself. Timing is indeed everything.

The lambo will make you just as happy so no problem there. Dealers can’t get any probably because the first couple years worth are all going to be shipped to Dubai and buried in sand or totaled from going over speed bumps at 60mph. I love it when a company makes a product they don’t actually want to sell. They just want to look at it, loan it to magazines, and talk about it, and how you will have to get down on your knees if you want one.
