Brembo Big Brake Question

Posted this in the TT section, but I'll try my luck here.

This has been discussed to death, but I haven't seen anything about the following: How much longer do the Brembo Big brake system (monoblock 6 piston 380mm) last as compared to the Big Reds that come stock? Price difference? How come they can't be installed in a car fitted with PCCBs? Not that I would, but just why?

Also, although in a different league, how much longer do the GTRs last as compared to the Big Reds...I think these cost like 15K now? Correct?

Thanks a lot
George

I have the Brembo 6 pistons on the front. They're great. I don't get any fade when I got a TON on my stock reds. Huge difference. Only thing is, that I got the slotted rotors (don't know if drilled would be better) but under hard braking on the track I can really, REALLY feel every slot. In watching my videos, I can see how much the wheel vibrated under hard braking. I don't much care for that.

Thanks for that...That's another thing I'd like to know, if the slotted ones are > cross-drilled.

Also, is the wheel vibrating a matter of the 997s or general porsches...? Doesn't sound too right Maybe misaligned?
