My Beloved 997 GT3 Is Gone!
Jason,
Don't tell me you are now stepping up to a Ferarri.

I remember back in our M5 days, we pegged this as our natural trade-up progression: BMWs look up to Porsches, Porches look up to Ferraris.
Now you are on step 2. Bet you won't be long before you take the ultimate step. You guys are terrible influence.

Vinny... can't wait to see it in person... we know that your 993 is faster, but it is not always about how fast the car is..the experience is what it is all about!
Congrats again buddy..

atomic80 how are you? All's pretty good these days. We've been very busy with the M5. Next week we will try to make a 10 sec. pass in the 1/4 mile with the M5. That would be tops in the nation (?world). Been having trouble putting the 581 rwhp on the ground. If we make it, this will be big. The M5 is such a savage machine.
The GT3RS is bone stock and would be up for a buyer if one came along.
The GT3 is a bit different. That car has extensive well done mods and it is an awesome piece of work. I do not ever see myself parting with this car but for the right price anything will go.
The RS4 is still on my side but probably not for long. I just got the Vorsteiner CF hood which looks awesome and new wheels for the car. I do not know what I'm doing. Wife says I'm insane. I believe her.
Cheers and enjoy,
GT3Ranger

I have a recomendation for you that will significantly improve the power of the Stradale. Install HyperFlo Cats ! We did some testing on them and our dyno sheet is on their web site. Also we pulled the exhaust manifolds and removed the pre-cat brick out of the collector. It took a talented fabricator to do it but the results were impressive. I track my Stradale and run slicks. The mid range was so much stronger I never used 2nd gear again at Calif. Speedway. The car pulled out of the corners like a 430. In fact it's faster than a 430 straight line drag race. Removing the pre cats did not effect the smog test. The 1999 360's didn't have pre cats. I have an extra set of manifolds ready to be modified if your interested. I picked them up from a Challenge Team who got a new motor with the stock manifolds on instead of the race set up without the pre-cats. The torque in the mid range where you use it on the street is great. Steve
Now questions for Steve... do you still have the exhaust manifold? Is the HP gain on the dynograph at Hyperflow's web site partly due to the removal of the precat? Do you come up to Cars and Coffee sometime? If so, I'd love to meet up and listen to your car.

I actually like how the car sounds with just having the valves unplugged. I may look into doing Hyperflow/exhaust in the future onnce/if I go deaf.
Is your Elise Forcefed?

The Elise started with a FF275 kit with a standalone EFI ECU but it now has a larger GT28RS turbo at 12 PSI boost. Hate to say it but the Stradale is slower than the Elise but I still like the overall driving experience of the Stradale better. If you get the Hyperflow before I do, please do share your experience.
