I paid 234,000 USD 6 month ago for my GT3 in taiwan. I miss the car prices in US.

[quote=Kaizu;1574637]I would still rather drive a basic Boxster on super Autobahns and Nordschleife than a super GT2 on basic US highways

Makes a lot of sense... Enjoy your boxster and ur $9 per gallon.

used to be 200% tax to import into pakistan, now it is 100%. lots more sports cars there now, tons of mazda rotaries and japanese cars, but the upper class and wealthy love their mercedes and land rovers. Some porsche's and ferrari's and I know of a business gentlemen with a Diablo and a 996 Turbo in Lahore. S*itloads of money there, but it spent much more discretly than in the UAE/Middle East, but still spent non-the-less.

But 920,000$ in denmark tho...WOW. No need to worry about seeing your neighbor with the same car as you, you have to be really successful to own a high-end car there. Any chance of me selling my C2 over there? I'm sure I can offer bargain pricing compared to local prices

I thought EU membership means you can't impose stiff tariff on stuff?

My suspicion is that is an excise type tax on any vehicle not just a tariff on imports (just a guess with no direct knowledge). Got to support the welfare state you know.
