You'd have a much easier time with sponsorship on a real race... not an event unilaterally banned by entire nations.

It's beyond me why a reputable brand would associate itself with such a questionable event.

because mainstream brands who sponsor it (dc shoes, xbox, etc) know that consumers in a high impulse buy bracket with some disposable income do watch it, and love it when people do reckless things. Basically the 17-25 year old group. it can't cost that much to sponsor it compared to some of the other media outlets.

Companies would sponsor public hangings if they drew a cheering crowd of the right demographic.

fred...good luck in the rally. wish i could join, but i fear it may be shut down before i reach the point in life where i can partake in it.
