I'd think 2 clutches for that car is excessive at 62000 miles since it appears to last only 30000 miles per clutch. One has to assume the starts and stops of city miles were all stoplight drag starts to wear out the twin disc ceramic clutch in that short a period. Still better than a clutch every 5000 miles that other "supercars" get.

I'm not so sure thats so "excessive".......especially for such a high strung "hypercar". What is comparable clutch life in say the Enzo..............or even the F40? Would be an interesting comparison although I've yet to hear of any F40s or Enzos with similar mileage.

you don't know, it could be only 20k miles. he could have done 2 clutch changes and is now ready for a 3rd.

i thought one of the properties of this clutch (ceramic) was that it should last the life of the car.

Curious to know how much money he spent on gas throughout the ownership. $15-20k?
