how many orange carrera gt's produced?

does anyone know how many orange carrera gt's were produced? Only break down I can find is:

362 GT Silver
103 Black
64 Seal Grey
44 Fayence Yellow
42 Guards Red
41 Basalt Black
11 Non-Metallic Color to Sample
6 Metallic Color to Sample

I found an orange cgt which is what I want but the owner wants 700k for it. He was saying its one of one but I know I saw a gemballa mirage cgt in orange posted on this forum so I don't think there is only one made.

There is one car in Arancio Borealis orange metallic (the car which is for sale), one in Pure Orange (maybe metallic), two in Zanzibar Red metallic, which is something between red and orange.

The orange Gemballa Mirage GT was the orange TechArt CGT before and before the TechArt tuning it was a normal GT Silver metallic CGT.

As far as I know there aren't any more orange CGTs.

And your color breakdown is only for the cars delivered into the USA.

damn I had a feeling it was 1 of 1. I can't get myself to pay that much extra for orange. I know they were asking 1,050,000 at first and now 700,000.

that's insane ricky, the orange color is only worth a small premium over other more common colors (plus whatever extra on top you are willing to pay based on how badly you want orange of course).

As far as numbers go, search on rennlist. there was a big thread in which every color CGT was made into a poster/chart with photos of each color and quantities as well I believe.

having said that, what color is your roadster, i might have seen it around before?

If there is interest I can ask Markus (he did the chart) and we can do the same in here with quantities of the paint-to-sample cars.

Those are the numbers for US-market alone.

As far as I know:

non-metallic:
Gulf Racing Blue (2)
Pure Orange
Scuderia Rosso
Giallo Modena
Fashion Grey
Biarritz White (2)
Grand Prix White (1 or 2)
Signal Yellow

(left one, if there is only one GP White car in US)

metallic:
Arancio Borealis
Zanzibar Red (2)
Midnight Blue
Cobalt Blue
Polar Silver

But there are some rumors of 1 or 2 paint-to-sample cars which are not in the official numbers. Also there is at least one car in a special color, which is not a works paint-to-sample: Men of Chile Grey, painted by Champion Motors (former Seal Grey car).

Before paying that much of a premium you could buy one in any color have it stripped down and painted the exact color you want for far less.

It might hurt the value slightly on resale, but I can guarantee you would lose a lot less than if you bought the Orange CGT for 700K.

That car should be worth 400-450K at the most, any more is a pipe dream on his part.

If you go to a top aftermarket paint shop you can get as good of a paint job as what comes from the factory.

netburner,

No pictures of the pearl white. The car is located in the Bay Area. I tried to purchase it through a broker but it was not available at "any price". I know the selling dealer.

There's metallic orange one in the Chicagoland area, I've seen it numerous times. It gets serviced at Napleton Porsche.
