so you're taking your daddys money to buy an expensive exotic car, not to drive/race/enjoy, but rather, to your admition, drive around where people will see you so you can show off??.....what you're daddy paid for

You need a car that has it all....looks, performance (track and highway running) is bulltproof. The GT2 is what you seek. You can get one new for 40K over MSRP ($240K) or you can buy mine for 125K.

I personally don't see anything wrong being born and raised from a wealthy loving family. But I do agree w/ everyone. Drive safe and don't do stupid things just because your friends are around 
I'd get a used car and learn how to drive in it first. Maybe an M3? Use the rest of the money to buy a house and build a garage for your future cars.

Who cares if its his dad's money, His dad is obviously rich enough to be able to give it away to his kid..If my dad was rich enough to give me 500k and tell me to go do what I want with it..I'd go buy a Murcie, a DD, and a lil townhouse w/ a 2 car garage! hahah

In grad school in San Francisco, a korean friend that was here for her Master's (2.5 years) was purchased a Penthouse and a MB S600 by her parents...she was like 27 at the time...We'd go out to lunch and her idea of lunch was Aqua and a $500 bill, needless to say, she paid for those. I'm not sold on this guy but it does happen...oh well, buy a Miata, easy to park and the chicks love them!
i had a couple of friends like that back in hs...
you get a+ on math quiz (not exam... a "quiz"...) you get brand new mb.
brand new yellow modena for hs graduation.
a penthouse instead of a dorm room first year of college, along with a couple of young maids.
lunch in tokyo, shopping trip to milan.
it's funny how every single one of those brats took over their parents business and made it even bigger and more successful-
and yes, they are able to do the very same thing to their wives and kids.
earn your own money? start from mcdonald's and climb your own way up?

Well, in Asian family that's pretty normal, last semester i got A on my exam text (my school no A+ score), so I got a Cayenne Turbo 
. In Asian culture, study is important than everything when they're growing up, parent usually put the score and prize together, you get a good score then you get a big prize. You can ask around who came from Asian, everybody know.
