GT3 Exhaust Resonance

I notice my GT3 has an exhaust resonance at 3000-3200 RPM, right a highway cruising speed. The interior door sill will pick up a slight vibration, you can place your hand on it and feel it. Do you guys experience this? Will an after market exhaust system, GMG, Sharkwerks, etc. eliminate this problem...

Mine has it too. I just up/down shift to avoid it.

Yes I had it but the Sharkwerks bypass gets rid of that.

Truthfully, all louder exhaust systems are going to have some drone. My GT3 did with the stock exhaust did and my europipe on the turbo also has some drone. I always cruise around 3500 to avoid.

So you are saying Sharkwerks bypass eliminated the 3000 RPM drone?

How long does it take to self install one? I have a lift so getting under the car is easy. How about the noise in non-bypass mode. I need to be low profile in the neighborhood.

Hi Mark, it's an unintentional byproduct but folks like Jack in LA and others figured out that after installing our set up that went away... It's pretty quiet in normal mode yes.

no drone here with the sharky bypass. also, quiet below 4k with sport off. no complaints yet from my neighbors. install is a breeze. took me about 3hrs to install on a week night.
