Nice cars, nice plates!
I had to settle for NRDSCLF on my GT3, as CA will only allow 7 characters.

yep.the 8 letters make a difference. I have one other plate...GRUNHLLE, and am thinking of putting that on the RS, and keeping NRDSCHLF for a future car.

Ah, yes...I remember you from the Ringers forum.

RS looks as good as ever. You've not had a chance to finally take it around the circuit yet, have you?

Nope, but it is being shipped to Germany to arrive on June 12. Am going to do a bit of high speed running there first like I did with the M6 after I had Hartge delimit it, (though not at the 200mph level this time), and then hit the Ring June 27 for a week. Taking some refresher instruction early in the week, and my old buddy Ed wil be there to give me some help in getting used to the RS on the Nordschleife. My M6 already has its Ring sticker, but the RS has to put rubber on the track before it gets one.
Looking forward to it. There will be a few RS people there that week.

Great combo you have their and as stated above. I absolutely adore the plates. Can definately tell you are a true enthusiast. How does the power delivery feel between the M6 and RS? Thanks for sharing with us.

Entirely different..the M6 is a mcuh heavier car, with lots of electronic stability and so on. It is very high revving for a V10,with peak torque at 6100 rpm and redline at 8250. The RS feels way more direct as a total package with much more communicative steering. I have no way to directly compare it on a track as it is stored for winter, but I will have a perfect opportunity at the Ring as I tracked the M6 there.

The M6 is a more practical weekend cruiser than the RS for sure, though it is killer on gas. I have some other cars, but these are the more performance oriented.
M6 has a nice engine note..here is a vid I made flat out on the autobahn....
