I dont think it will be that interesting. I just read the Motor Trend review ( not the best mag but still mag) and it said what I think will happen when I drive one given the cost:
the power is amazing but the steering feel and over all handling was not up to the Porsche or Ferrari standard albeit at twice the cost. This is just the hype of a new 500hp car. It doesnt happen that often ( a 500hp car release). In 6 months we will be talking about air pressures at the track. What really suprises is me that the GT3/GT2 driver/owner is the most experienced car nuts I know, and we/they are really entertaining the idea of a 4000lb car. In the 04/05 era of the GT3 we/they wouldnt CONSIDER a 4000 lb car. In fact most of us/them were arguing the weight of the 996 GT3/2 was too heavy. Everyone was seeking the holy grail of getting the 996 GT3 below 3000lbs permanently. Some were looking at 2700lbs and lower. No one is arguing the sillyness of running a TWO ton car. When sense comes back to the debate then the GT-R will go back to trumping the WRX and the STI and maybe a contender for a Z06.

I think that the GT-R would not be such a big deal if it was stick shift. 3,800 lbs, 480HP ? It's gotta be the trany ! I'm counting on Porsche to come up with a super dupper manumatic trany and some carbon fibre on my next 998TT. I've seen it launch (GT-R) WOT many times (videos), and it nails them perfect every time. BS aside, it an exellent car.

There was another interesting point in Motor Trend. They got alot of flak from GM because they called the GT-R a Vette killer. Contrasting to that they caught the president of Porsche (one of the divisions) I forget his name and the Motor Trend guy asked him "does it bother you that the GT-R is faster than the TT?" He smiled and said "no we like competition"
They thought it was funny that GM was whinning about what they wrote and Porsche welcomed the GT-R.

He can't be serious. In Hollywood? I don't think so. It will get lost amongst the Bentleys, F-Cars, Lambos, and P-Cars. Maybe he's talking about Hollywood Florida.

shiznut123 is infamous around these parts
lol, he was making an analogy. He didn't mean literally that a GT-R in Hollywood would get stares.

Who cares anyways.
