I have actually removed alot of weight from the car and my bank account
>130kg removed to start with:
Cup doors w lexan windows
Cargraphic Carbon hood
Cargraphic Carbon rear wing
Cargraphic Carbon decklid
RS lexan rear window
RS cluth and flywheel
Light weight battery (7kg)
Center console delete and removal of tools etc
BBS 18" Lemans rims
Europipe stage 2 exhaust
Kept the PCCB's but upgraded to gen 2 (not installed yet)
ECU flash 530hp (to be done)
Put some weight back with the installation of a full roll cage though, but better safe than sorry.

Car is still at the tuner and will be picked up after the easter holiday.

On the 1:st of May 2008 the GT2, more R Turbos and the Carrera GT will meet again.
Plus an LP640.

This time on the race track...and a few upgrades later.

And there will be more meetings at the airfield.

All of the cars that were videotaping with the extra person in the car lost. If you hae a car that you know is faster, have them hold the camera person and extra weight.

 

Both cars had co-riders in order to even that out.
