997 Gt3 Full Exhaust Systems
Here are our thoughts on Titanium.
We stay away from Ti for good reason. Yes, it is very light, but due to it's nature, it's not ideal for high heat or harsh applications like you would find on a modern day car. Especially a Porsche.
Porsche motors expand outward from heat and the exhaust is directly attached to both sides of the engine. A front engine car has more room for proper mounting points (flexible rubber hangers) to allow for expansion and contraction of the metal. If this is not taken into consideration with a Ti Porsche system, or not properly designed, you are playing with fire.
Even Porsche had trouble with the OEM Ti exhaust on the new GT2. Early versions cracked! It took a few tries playing with different Titanium compositions to get it right.
Working with Titanium is different then Stainless, but it's not that we can't do it. We just choose not to. If we felt that it would stand up long term, it would be our first choice.

Running with no cats means a constant check engine light. Not harmful, but it won't pass emissions tests.
Of course you can run car without cats. A proper software upgrade will not only eliminate any cel issue, but give the whole kit additional HP & TQ.
Cargraphic reliable ? Check their website's info on the last 3 years Tuner Challenge results in Europe. Should answer your question.

Regarding titanium and useage in exhaust systems I agree completely with Mike/AWE's comments.
Costs would probably be threw the roof.
Do not forget the Supersprint header/exhaust system probably coming this summer. It looks interesting and the design seems similar to AWE.

Awe.....
Well...... after reading the entire post.... I can see that there are people that do not understand the meaning of a serious exhaust system.... I will not get technical this time because 75% of readers will not understand anything.... but if you are looking for a serious exhaust and header combo just call AWE and save yourself from a headache... this system is serious... I own a dyno son I am not talking "post-reading-crap"...
AWE´s system makes POWER ladies and getz..... this is no bypass.....

Tony

You're right I do know very little about exhaust systems, but AWE is at the top of my list. This Oakley titanium exhaust system is being released in a couple of weeks and is really tempting, even though there is no information (#'s/video) available on it. How does the AWE system sound at idle? Louder than stock w/sport?
Thanks
Thanks
Slightly louder/deeper/more full sound at idle than the stock with sport mode on. I hope that you are purchasing a full exhaust system for more than just the "sound" of it. Otherwise save your money, sell the GT3 to a true enthusiast and buy yourself a nice ricer with a big "fart can" exhaust, I'm sure that they are louder too.
Wow. Nice Cargraphic. Don't be a dick SwatDoc. Sound is important, and so is performance. Thanks for telling me about AWE, but I don't need you to tell me what kind of cars to buy. What? Are you scared Oakley's system is going to be better?
