VIR In-Car

I haven't posted on here in a while but I have been lurking. Being a 996 GT3 owner I thought some of you guys might like some VIR in-car footage from my #38 BimmerWorld World Challenge Touring Car. If you haven't seen the race I won't tell you what happens but it was close!

Seth, it would be educational if you informed the board members what in-car camera set up you are using.

loved it! thanks for sharing. wouldn't it be less distracting if the wiper was on the other end?

Yup it would have been less distracting but honestly I didn't even notice it. Plus it helps to tell when you are right in the heart of the draft ;-) Honestly there was a big weather system that was supposed to hit in the middle of the race so we had it on there in case it did hit us. Thank goodness it didn't.

As for the camera system it is a Chasecam PDR-1000 system. It is an awesome system that doesn't take anything special to download it to your PC. Everything is compact, easy to mount and stands up to a racecar environment.
