Angry 997 GT3 Failure to start???

My 997 GT3 will not start. The battery is fine. I will explain the symptoms and hopefully someone can shed some light on the situation.

If I try to start the car, there is a clicking sound from the front compartment but nothing happens. After trying to start the car 15-20 times it still will not start.

If I keep the key engaged for an extened period trying to start the car; every idiot light goes on and indicates failure on all accounts.

Guess what, if I let this happen the next time I try to start the car it fires up.

The car will continue to start for a couple hours after that most probaly because it is warmed up.

After that, it fails to start unless I go through the same routine 15-20 times.

I took the car to the dealer yesterday but I am hoping someone can shed some light on the failure.

Does this sound like a computer issue?

Thanks in advance.

Mike

if the battery is fine, the starter is clicking and you can hear the sparks, it is most definately a fuel delivery issue, which in my guess is most likely, the fuel pump...

very similar issue was seen on our Range Supercharged...corrected by swapping out the fuel pump after replacing more than $1500 in parts when I told them it seemed like a fuel pump issue
