I agree, they are off by 3 to 4 lbs. since I started tracking my car I just want to shut them off. Next time i go to the dealer i am getting it unhooked. Its only good to tell you if you are getting a flat.

guys with GT3's check the tire pressure we don't need TPM'S.

I thought my TPMS was off too, until I bought a new gauge from Longacre and re-tested it. I now realize it was 100% accurate so I'd suggest checking your gauge first. My old one was a Longacre as well, but it was several years old.

At least yours work Joe. Mine doesn't even have a reading sometimes.

I did Longacre digital 135.00 and the TPM is off by 3 to 4 lbs.

Do you guys have problem with your TPM not giving a reading? It happens once in awhile for me mainly when I start the car and it can last for a few minutes to a few hours.

I asked Fern about it and he doesn't seem to have that problem. I guess it is normal because the sensors have been changed already.

There is a mode for winter tires and a mode for summer tires. Doublecheck to ensure yours is set to summer.

Does anybody know how to reset the TPM ?
This morning when I started my car, the rear left was indicating -4 PSI. Sure enough, a quick check with a manometer showed the pressure was a tad low but ok (30 PSI). Did not recover while driving to work so I went through the menus to reset the thing, go through the "learning" process, but to no success.

Now when I go into the TPC set menu, info pressure, I have the correct readings on the right F/R side, but "Req:" on the left side.

Is it just the thing acting up ?

JC, ask Joe(speedofflight) and Fernando(daytonaviolet), they had this similar problem a few week ago.

yeah mine would act up from time to time. i check it with a my pressure gauge and seemed fine and there is that -4psi difference between what the TPM is saying vs. what my tire gauge is telling me. coincidentally, it's the left rear as well. then all you'd get is the "Req: " on the f/r left side when you go thru the set menu to try to reset tpm. so i just drive it around for a few days. then go back to setting and it's like magic. it just comes back all fine again and both tpm and the '!' symbols just goes away. it seems to recover faster if you add a bit of air before resetting tpm but not consistent enough.

I got the ! warning last night and thought something might've gone wrong until I clicked on this thread

No pressure drop on any of my tires, double checked with an analog + digital tire inflator.

Mine shows 29psi front 34psi rear, right under the MY08 tag

At the risk of being repetitious...
