My guess is that this is for show and that the doors are covered with a low sheen vinyl sticky material. Check out the photo of the door.

At the SF Auto Show earlier this year CHP had a black Audi R8 in their boot with all the graphics (forgot if it has a light bar) but that thing attracted crazy attention! Everyone was wondering if that was a real police car or not....

I would love to get into law enforcement if I can drive a patrol car like that with all the police computers inside. Going 100+mph with the lights and sirens is really a rush...hehe, don't believe me? Apply as a "ride along" in a local police department
