Good to see you posting here finally!!
Basically, if you can clear all the speed humps and have no problem navigating in and out of your Parking Structure then you won't have a problem daily driving it. It can get noisy and uncomfortable on bumpy roads but it's pretty livable. I can't use mine because the front lip won't clear my parking space.

I had no problem using my 997 RS every day last summer ...
I had a great time driving all the way from London to Monaco & back ....
With PCM & Normal suspension mood, you almost can take that beast any where

I drive mine most days when I know where I am going to park.....that way I preserve the lip. It's wonderful!

vk430gt is infamous around these parts
my dad drove his this spring almost every day and put 800 miles on it, 12 miles every day. he does have his lower ffront lip painted black and that scratches very often but he has some mechanics that are fabricating custom skid plates for the car on the rear and front. he is looking into making his front lip flexible rubber like that flap on the corvettes. (my dad has a rubber mold machine in his lab for impressions so he could make his front lip in house.

love driving it every chance i get. I guess it's not the most "comfortable" to drive on poor road surfaces because the suspension is pretty stiff for some folks....

Works great for me. Scrape the front lip here and there, but no worries at all. Daily drive it!

question from a non-GT3 owner - is it advisable to remove the front lip when driving on streets, and put it back on during track driving?

Nah, they're disposable and the car looks wrong without it.

Just keep a couple in the garage. I have two spares right now.

I'm just happy to hear you all are driving your GT3 RSs everyday. That's awesome. I drive my C6 Z06 everyday and some people ask me why? I say, why not?

I've been using my 997 GT3 (non-RS version) as a daily driver and it's been great, but the roads are good where I live. A lot of forum people tried to talk me out of the 3 but I'm glad I didn't listen. If you're a driver, you'll love the car.
