Eureka! White GT3RS
Sorry for the long wait in posting some pictures, all I have at this point are a couple of photos from the dealer which aren't great - I'll post a few more when the car arrives. It's been a challenge to find a quality transport company who is doing a run from Dallas to Seattle (to Barrier Porsche) anytime soon..arrrgh - I'll be driving the RS from there to Vancouver! I purchased #2710 from Boardwalk Lambo in Dallas, they've been terrific to deal with. Here are the specs:
- Carrera White exterior
- Black full leather
- Ceramic Composite Brakes-PCCB
- Floor mats
- Dashboard deviated stitching (white)
- Door handle stitching deviated (white)
- Rear side panel deviated stitching (white)
- Seat stitching deviated (white)
- Carbon package switch panel
- 19" GT3 RS Wheel-Deviating Color
- Door entry guards in carbon illuminated
- Belt outlet B pillar exterior color
- Foot rest aluminum
- Rear center console carbon
- All exclusive option stitching in deviated color (white)
- Gear lever trim exterior color
- Trim strip painted exterior color
- Thicker steering wheel in leather
I cannot believe how beautiful your car is, I am excited for you (and for when I get to see it) When does it arrive? Are you using Barrier to do the DRL's? you may want to get it done in Texas, I have heard that the Northern Dealers are charging huge $ to perform a simple operation. I was able to turn my DRL's on via the Sport Chrono kit on my C2S, but yours won't have the option.

Hey Ed, thanks for the kind words. I don't have a shipping pickup date for the RS as yet but with the dealer's help we're working on it. Realistically it'll be a couple of weeks before it arrives at Barrier. When I purchased the 2006 C4S from Niello Porsche I had it shipped to Barrier who did the US to Metric and DRL conversion for free via the PCM - as you know its a couple of setting changes - simple. As the RS doesn't isn't equipped with PCM its done via the dealer's PIWIS and its very inexpensive. MCL Porsche quoted me $1,000 (are you kidding...) for the conversion and Roger Jobs Porsche wants $200 (its tough to get a shipper to deliver to Bellingham WA).
MCL runs there business in a weird manner, I was told yesterday by a local PCA guy that they changed him a $175 fee to certify his US car for Canadian warranty work to be done...wtf! I tried to buy a car from them two years ago and they really didn't want to sell me a car, or so it felt like it.
I hope things go well, and the transfer of the car is quick, I would be going crazy waiting for this to arrive!

Niello Porsche is located in Rockland / Sacramento CA where purchased a C4S Cab in 2007.
That's right. It's the next town north of Roseville in Rocklin.
