As a birthday present one of us will get a nice helmet, and i will get hans for it. Never used a hans myself, so a couple of questions...

1. I assume mounting points are universal so there is no need to match it to the helmet?
2. I know there are several different inclinations, which one to get for 996 GT3?
3. Whats the best manufacturer and where to buy them (for int delivery)?

1 - yes, your assumption is correct
2 - I think how it fits you matters more
3 - See #2, you really should try to find a local supplier so you can get fitted for it. If you don't have a local one, let me know and I can refer you to a shop that will do their best to help you out.

 

Local shop for hans is a bit hard to find in Moscow moreover its supposed to be a present!

read the whole thing. your neck size determined size of collar and what car you drive determines the slope degree. i run 20M in a GT3 porsche.
