'08 GT3, 1800 Miles, Corsa's and my rears are already wearing serious tread. The fronts look new but the rears are wearing fast. 33lb in rear and aside from a few jaunts up to 140, no burnouts or hard braking. Almost all drivng on nice 2 lane back roads. I read 3K Mi. is normal. Is that so? and if so, maybe I need something that lasts abit longer. I dont track the car, just like to cruise the country and scare an occasional rabbit. I thought 18K on my turbo was bad, HA! Any suggestions?

I have Corsa Systems too as OEM equipment, running around 32 PSI cold and after 4000 miles including 4 track days, the front and rears still have quite some way to go. If tread wear is uneven, then you have a geometry issue. If it's even, then I am clueless.

Is the wear even or on the inside. is it even left to right. I track my car with the corsa's and notices that my right rear was wearing faster than the left which it should be the opposite since I am going in clockwise circles, Had the alignment check and the right rear was way out of Toe, the suspension on the 3 is not that good at holding the toe alignment, allot of guys go to upgraded toe links in the rear.

You would be surprised how far out of alignment your car can come from the factory. check it out.
