HRE dealer is wanting me to use P47's. The 43's look just like Champion 171's. They all look good.

+1 for the P47's. They would look great on that beast!

I would suggest going with some HRE Comps or the P47's...

Feel free to contact me for more information

C-90's or C-93's with any color option would work great.
If you do it, the performance gain will blow your mind, forget the improved looks of a competition 3 piece wheel ! I have C-90's on my CLK-63 Black Renntech. Cup 18 " wheels on the RS. Using C-93's on my Scuderia when it arrives in 4 month's. Great color for a GT-2. Look's great in person and on the road. My last GT-3 was the same but the GT-2 looks better with the radical body work, it really shows it off.
Best regards, Steve
+1 on the HRE C21 Cups shown on the green RS. They are extremely light, with race proven strength and not to mention an extremely sick looking wheel. Here's a set on James' World Challenge GT3

Shown here are the C21's. Notice the weight saving measures taken from the spokes compared to the C21 Cups shown on Sofronas' car.

With that, my first choice would have to be the BBS E88. These wheels are the end all in my book. Most World Challenge Porsche teams run them so you know they are extremely light and strong, and IMO they are the best looking race wheels to date. Shown here on a couple GMG cars.

To anyone who cares, the attached photos are of the victorious wheels. I backed out of the P47's due to another thread about the seller of the wheels and some reputation issues.

You couldn't pay me to run HREs.

BBS Motorsport or Champion MS61 FTMFW!

There is a reason why the majority of winning race cars run BBS, and they all PAY for the wheels too!

These 98's are light, I mean real light. I picked up factory, and they weigh easily 3 or 4 times more that these 98's. I have no clue on HRE, but I have seen quite a few 997TT's that have P40's, and they look pretty good. The offset on these is perfect. The 9's in front look better than 8.5's, and the rears stick out ever so slightly to give it more of a race look. Besides the GT2, it is one of the best car enhancement investments I have made.

I have a set of RS98s too...satin black. Dropped approx 8 lbs in the rear and 6 in the front, plus they look great!

You immediatelt notice more responsive steering, possibly a little more agility. Only downside is a but more road noise.

Regards,
Chris

The only thing I have noticed right now is the traction control is having a problem with the weight versus the factory setting of the heavier wheels. It seems to break loose tires and be drifty when pushing a corner. I am pushing the car hard when doing this. OBTW, this is not a complaint. Haven't tried launch control yet, but I am betting and interesting outcome.
