Just ordered a replacement lip and it arrived in light grey/silver color - not black. The parts guy shows this item to be available only in this color; suggests I have it painted black. Anyone else have experience this? For a 'consumable' item this sucks . .

 

i think that's the right part#. although, i never heard of it coming in different color other than black plastic or those with matching ext paint option like i had originally (white). return it and order from either suncoast (board sponsor) or tischer porsche.

 

Thanks for the heads-up, Joe. I've checked suncoast and what I have is presumably the Aerokit Version (paintable, comes in primer).
I'm beyond the 5 day return + 20% restocking stage so I'm going to paint it. The purchase was an impulsive one year 'anniversary gift' for my baby. Daily driver and sharply angled driveways, speed bumps have taken their toll . .

 

Mine came in black urethane plastic.
