i think the decklids are identical. all they did was produce a shorter blade. i wonder if these new GT3 owners will start modding with the older RS blades

I think the shorter wing looks awesome and since the GT3 has a shorter rear track, it fits the width of the car better....IMO...but horses for courses.

The real news is what's going to be beneath the wing....whatever it is, it'll be epic!!

I think the aerodynamics on the current GT3 looks much more aggressive and better looking IMO. The new body looks too plain for me.

I'm not a fan of the current GT3 (non-RS wing) ... but I like the one shown here even less. Looks anemic. Would rather see the RS wing.

As for trading up, I'll be waiting for the next platform. Porsche needs to do something significant for the next platform with all the competition and I'd feel like a sucker buying a 7MK2 only to start learning about what they have in store for the next version. I figure 12 mo after the MK2s start shipping, we'll start seeing the spy shots of the new 911. Not something I really want to be reading about after taking delivery of my brand new MK2. But that's just me. Some folks don't seem to car (probably because money is no object so they can just buy whatever, whenever).

If the decklids are not identical, then they're in for a 10K surprise.

What happen if the price of the seats drops below 7K? Buy high, sell low?

I don't know why we can't get the alcantara. It's on all the GT2 that i've seen.
