Request for rotor/pads suggestions

My car will see 90% street duty, with 3 or 4 track weekends a year. I am not obsessed with maximum track performance.

What are the recommendations out there for pads? I don't want squeaking/grinding on the street.

How about rotors?

Just go OEM? Are there more cost effective alternatives?

TIA

Based on your planned use, the OEM pads are really quite good and should do the trick. Rotors - OEM are just fine and cost effective and you can save a few $ by getting the fronts via Motorsports. I think I paid about $700 for a pair at TRG vs. $860 for OEM. If you are only doing 3-4 DE a year, you won't need to worry about rotors for a long time...

I don't track my car so I wanted a good HP street pad that had low dusting and noise. It was recommended by a member of this board to go with Porterfield R4-s pads for my steel rotors. I've only used them for about 800 miles. They certainly produce a lot less dust and are quiet. The ones I recieved didn't have proper provisions for the wear sensors so I don't use them. It's not a big deal as the pad wear is easy to visually check. I can't say as to how they would perform on a track.
