Pics of RS and carbon mods
Gentlemen
Thanks for all the emails.
I must first off thank Matt for giving us the oppurunity to build an amazing car. We share many of the same principals when designing and building a car..
As you all know the World Challenge of products is a direct result from our racing involvement in the Speed GT series and it has produced some of the best upgrades for these cars.
Matts WC-997GT3 is the ultimate expression of the World Challenge - WC-GT3.
We are offering the roof conversion, this is a complete carbon replacement roof skin and not an overlay part. The part is manufactured at our composite shop and is bonded in as on the BMW M6 using the same methods and technology.
We are also offering the rear bumper and tailight conversions.
997GT3 and RS owners can purchase the taillights and the bumper in carbon composite from GMG and this bolt on with out any modifications to the quarter panels.
I have some build pictures of Matt's car and there was extensive work done to the inside rear fender liners to accomodate a 13" rear wheel. We also learned that the rear inner fender liners are completely different on the cup car and the street cars.
The craftsman at CCC built custom inner fender liners which were then welded to the chassis in place of the stock inner and out fender ( similar to what hot rod guys do on muscle cars ) .
This car also has all our World Challenge suspension modifications which include:
GMG Cup Harness bar with the additional rear bracing to tie in the strut towers.
(A GMG exclusive part)
Suspension upgrades:
Motorsport uprights which lower the roll center 2" front and rear.
Dog Bones
Toe Steer kit
Thrust arm bushings
Bump steer kit front and rear
Moton dampers revalved to GMG specifications
Eibach ERS dampers
GMG WC replacement sway bar set front and rear.
Additional modifications:
GMG WC Carbon fenders to replace stock fenders and accomodate 10" wheels
GMG WC rear carbon replacement wing blade
GMG WC 15mm wicker
MA Carbon rear engine inlet scoops
MA Carbon rear replacement gurney.
The car will be at the LA Auto Show for those of you in the CA area - Stop by and check it out in person.
Lastly we have just completed the development of a sequential shifter conversion for the 997TT- GT3- GT2 and RS cars. It is being debuted at the LA Auto show.
I will post some pictures of it shortly!
Thanks for your continued support throughout the years!
Lastly if you are in the OC area and need paint or body work done. I highly recommmend you see the professionals at Coast Line Collision Clinic .As a official partner shop to GMG The work that they do is second to none. They do everything from touch up work to custom paint and body as well as handle all insurance company claims. They also utilize the Celette Porsche Factory chassis jigs.
Thanks for all the emails.

From what I understand from Fabryce's post above the stock bumper has to be swapped out for a carbon composite one that accommodates the new tail lights.
