So what is the point of doing this again? Is the idea to have a clear bra that makes a style statement?

Love the "Hot Rod Black"!!!!

What about the door jams, engine comp, hood interior, etc.?
The stock color remains is not wrapped and shows, correct?

I thought about getting this done to my car. I totally would do it if i had a GT2.

My thoughts is you get the paint protection of a clear bra (same material, sometimes thicker), and you get to individualize your cars looks!

Then if you ever get tired of the color or want to sell it... peel it off and BAM!

BRAND NEW PAINT!

That "Hot Rod Black" is also known as "primer".
Not for me but as long as the owner likes it, that's all that matters.

What happened to the crazy paint schemes people used to get done?
Subtlety is paramount.

I like this look on high end cars, but on anything else it looks like you're in between paint jobs. Regardless, this look is only for TRUE car lovers, not chicks who like fancy paint jobs.

I will replace my 997GT3 clear bra (Coming lose here and there and yellow) with a Satin / Matte white finish. Just have not gotten around to it yet.
