Got the chance to drive an LP-560 this past weekend. Even though it was only 35 degrees outside, this car handled amazingly. To be honest, I haven't been the biggest fan of the Gallardo until this version came out. I am utterly impressed. In comparison to the GT3 RS, the LP-560 is much easier to drive fast (had the e-gear) and is outright faster. The acceleration is brutal and the sound is intoxicating. You can even get a matt paint option for somewhere just shy of $27K!. Overall, Lamborghini transformed this car into something really special.

I am not saying it is better than the RS, just different and in my opinion at least as good. As much as I want one, I wouldn't sell my RS for it...at least for now. Obviously, cost is a factor. I'd take the LP-560 in a heartbeat over the F430, but likely not the Scuderia (although I haven't driven one yet).

 

I believe a GT3RS is considerably less money then the LP560 as well.

I saw a Gallardo TT at a track day last year with 900 HP, car was insane!

 

if it is much faster to drive due to its e-gear, then the problem can be easily resolved by having PDK on the new GT3.

 

Although I haven't driven either, and am an avid Ferrari fan, the LP-560 has been proven to be faster around most tracks than the Scud. I believe that the LP-560 Superleggera (when and if it comes out) will be VERY special.
