Very interesting project. I'm trying to lighten up the rear end as well at the moment

I also have one of those lightweight alternators (mine is a MCLaren one). However the carrier i have is still a very heavy cast piece (996.115.111.4R) even though its from a GT3 Cup. It leaves the alternator in the original position on the left and doesn't put it in the middle as you do.

Are your parts from porsche or custom made? I'm especially interested in the elbow pieces for the water supply to the cylinder banks.

Do you probably have part numbers and price figures for those parts? And some close ups would be great as well.

many thanks

Awesome project!

I'm curious, what the manners of the engine will be like with that intake system, in terms of possible street use. (I know thats not a street car) I love that stuff.

hey,
I assume that you got the option of "A/C delete" when you ordered the car
do you know how much weight that saves?

I didn't think you could get a/c delete on 997 GT3s. Maybe in Europe? The 996 GT3's it was a no cost option if I remember correctly.
