I am so frustrated !
Bring it to the Urban Speed
If anything, it's counter intuitive. You're taught as a kid to give gas as you're letting out the clutch. That's intuitive. In the CGT, it's the opposite. Let the clutch out first and then give gas. Once you "re-learn" this, launching is an afterthought.
This may be obvious to some, but many don't realize it.
Move the seat forward so that your knee is very slightly bent when the clutch is fully depressed.
If your leg is stretched out too far, it makes it very difficult to properly operate/modulate the clutch. Any clutch.

Congrats on your CGT, PLEASE take the time to get to know your car. Too many people have wrecked their CGT's because they thought they would just get in the car and then instantaneously become Mario Andretti. These are very capable cars, but also don't tolerate unskilled users. Go slowly in learning how to drive it properly. Enjoy in good health!
Thanks for all the advices and complements.
I'll try to make to the Urban Speed meets. But first, I need to find a empty packing lot in or near the Galleria area (I live in Tanglewood).

I wouldn't call the launch/clutch/transmission tough to launch or tricky as another poster put it.

So how does this clutch get actuated? Is it electronic? If there is programming for this then what auto feature connects the clutch when you give it gas. Also, Can I get this for my car?
Relax & feel the clutch, don't be nervous - you will do fine. It takes a little time to get used to it. A little bit of gas helps right as it engages. The rate at which one lets up the pedal is important.
Try engaging the clutch in reverse as the distractions are limited.

best way to learn clutch control on any manual car,...pop it into 1st, depress the clutch..dont even think of pressing the accelerator...you should be able to move the car by slowly letting off the clutch...you will be able to move and stop the car simply with the clutch...eventaully smack on some gas!

exactly!
is ANY car if you have to rely on the gas to get it to move you dont know how to properly drive. But once you learn you get a hole nother feal for the car.
