Seriously, that video made my heart rate go wild. That is a seriously hot car. Make mine Speed Yellow with the black wheels.
Will keep current car but have a deposit on the first 998 RS whenever it appears...would like to have both. Would not likely buy the .2 car.

thanks for the link and pictures ~ Porsche really outdid themselves with this car!

Just when you think they can't improve perfect, they do something really neat....this car looks sweet in the red or I'll love to see a yellow one in person.

thanks for sharing

I did this for the spy shots when they were posted. My only gripe is that the middle vent in the bumper is carried over from the old bumper while the side vents have been enlarged. IMO this doesn't flow as well as it should.I will say it looks much better in final form than the spy shots but that being said...
If they stretched the middle vent to be as tall as the sides it would look perfect. So here is the comparison. It's not perfect, but serves to illustrate the purpose.
Enjoy.

I sold my 2007 GT3 about a year ago, and placed a deposit on the 2010 GT3. This car is everything the 2007-2008 was lacking, and on top of that look a whole lot better!!!

That front is a lot nicer. Also don't like the vertical slats in the smiley face grill.

Black will be hot, hide some lines.

It's a great looking car but I think the 997.1 flowed better. This car is an upgrade in every other way... But a few things on the bumper (and spoiler, IMO) are not as aesthetically pleasing.

It usually takes a while to get used to the new design. The more I look at the new GT3, the more I appreciate the changes. I think Porsche did a great job with this one.

Me too! I sold my 997 GT3 because of a few reasons, but now looking at this improved one makes me want another. In the looks department its 10x nicer too! IMO of course.

I sold my 997 GT3 also early last year. I really miss the GT3 but I am looking forward to the new one. I think when the test numbers become available, we will be pleasantly surprised.

On the track, the driver is most often the difference

I am very impressed with the early details on the new GT3, but I also know that I am more limited by my skills in driving than by what car I drive. Porsche needs a new GT3 to goose sales in the current economy. I will stay with my GT3 RS.

Yes, I think in this economy car companies gotta bring out whatever they can without holding anything back. Competition for the consumer's dollar is going to be fierce.
