I am certain it's still there. I was at Herb last week, and it was still parked by the window.

Funny thing about the CGT...they hope to produce 1500 and sell half of those in the US. Yet the GT3 (which costs roughly 1/4 the price, but appeals to a similar [albeit mostly poorer] buyer) needed discounts from the dealers to move the same number of cars (in a more compressed timeframe). Do they still think they'll sell 750 CGT's here? If so, at what price? I don't know how much margin the dealer makes on these, but I bet we start hearing about discounts in the next few months.

believe it or not, dealers only get about $25k on these at MSRP. they (like scholfield porsche in kansas - heavy advertiser in autoweek using www.kansasporsche.com) will have to start trying to keep customer $50k deposits just to move the cars without losing $.

Re: the eBay CGT.... My friend's father was interested in buying this car. He has an '01 Turbo, and the dealer low balled him on the trade. To make a long story short, he walked out. They do not have the car on display, it is in the service area under cover....

Re: the Chamber's CGT.... I saw Herb driving a red CGT (the same one I'm assuming) near my summer home in Old Saybrook, CT about a month ago. So for any potential buyers, I think that one has a few miles on it...
