GT2 Mods, next round
I pick up my car tomorrow from it's next round of mods. After the FVD remap and intercooler replacement that got me to about 600 hp, I have now stepped out and installed new headers and the GMG titanium exhaust. It looks absolutely beautiful on the car and weighs less than my iPhone. I plan on posting a few exhaust pics later and also a link to the sound, which should rival anything. FVD is refreshing the DME to accomodate the HP, and we believe it to be north of 650. This car was a monster before, but now I believe that PSM will be useless.

I'm hoping to get sound clips and pics posted Monday. Ended up not picking up car. The clamps from GMG have not been the correct length to attach the exhaust. I can't wait to hear it!

I have the GMG exhaust on my 996 GT2 and I can fully attest that THE EXHAUST MAKES THE CAR! It sounds fantastic. In first gear pulling up to a light you lay off the accelerator and there is a "bubbling" symphony which is perfect. Under load, the sound approaces F1 quality, just with a deeper tone. When the boost kicks in, the change in tone is startling. It literally stops traffic. One snaggle-tooth guy pulled up to me in his pickup and said, "your car sounds better than NASCAR" Now, considering the source, that's one hell of a compliment. Good luck with your exhaust. On a 997 it will probably sound even better.

I'm sorry. I'm working on it. I have some, but am technically not good at this. Some guys at the dealership are working on the uploads. Trying to get someone to post to Youtube so I can provide a link.
