I just picked up the Tamiya build it yourself, Carrera GT kit. Ordered it from Hong Kong. 1/24 scale. I already built the 1/24th Enzo.

I scratch and custom build 1:24 scale Porsche's. Race and street. Wife cant understand why I dont finish all the ones I have before buying more. My current (past year) project is one of my 917K's.

I love the diecast models but I get a real huge kick building them myself.

this is still one of the best models i have ever seen.....was it difficult to assemble??? i am thinking about buying one, but have read on ferrarichat.com that they break easily while assembling (the few parts that need to be put together). any problems? thanks!

if u have experience building them before shouldn't have problem with it. again, as for TAMIYA, fit & finish is perfect.
