It is the factory Premier fuel cell from the Cup S and the RSR. Cup cars are delivered without a fuel cell and added later. Some teams use the Premier factory cells and some use Fuel Safe. The Premier factory cell is better quality and cost more.Originally Posted by mooty
it's a premier cell, much better than the one in cup car. btw, not all cup spec comes with fuel cells.
Who makes this 4.5 lb. battery? Thanks

Hi grussel,
Your project is getting more and more fantastic!
What was the modelname of your battery from Voltphfreaks? I saw on your photo that you had exchanged the heavy ( 2,5 lbs ) horisontal batteryplate with someting else. Is it a plastic or carbon piece?

We made an aluminum cover. As I write this we are making a new aluminum bracket to hold the solenoid. In the photo it is black and rusted.
