I powdercoated my stock 19" wheels gloss black also after seeing how great the car looked with the CCW wheels for the track. I went to gloss black because the factory RS wheels are a gloss black. I think they look fabulous and have never regretted doing it.

 

Here's an old pic of mine with the factory deviated color option (gloss). I like the look but powder coated matte finish would be better especially with a stripe.

 

+1 Get them powder coated Looks and holds up much better.

 

Install the logo on the side of the car that will blend the black wheels better with the white body!

Here is mine with my track FISKE anodized wheels... before they started turning purple with the damage done by heat. I will propably do a powder coating in a matte black before the end of the season now

I'm not sure if I missed this but what color is your GT3? What color are you brakes? Do you have window tint?

So far my answer is=YES!

 

im very happy with mine over 2 yrs, 12k miles, 10 track days. simply painted gloss black at local body shop for about $500 total. never worry about looking dirty any more and occasional touch up with black duplicolor if chips.

was told not to powder coat bc heat can weaken rims esp if use on track. not sure if correct but plain paint works so why take chance?

 

Should you spray your GT3? Sure, but no more than a 75 shot
