Something seems off here

It has nothing to do with what I can afford. It's a long story that I rather not get into on the forum.

[quote=///M Kevin;2317343]After several months of looking for GT2 seats, I decided to go a different route

Just got back from a PCNA sponsored event where we drove PDK equipped Boxsters and Caymans. A Porsche rep and a dealer both told me that they can't sell the launch cars that came with the Sports Buckets because most people don't want the seats. The PCNA guy suggested if you want the GT2 sports buckets, go to the dealer and offer to swap...you might be surprised. The dealer seconded the notion, offering a swap on the spot.

different demographics. not many people are looking into buying brand new boxsters, caymans, or non-gt carreras so that they can take it to the track. they look for comfort for leisure drives and maybe occasional spirited drives. the sport buckets are tough to get in and out of. doesn't recline, uncomfortable on long drives. at the track, on the other hand, they are fantastic and they are light. throw a sport bucket seat in a gt*, different story.

gt3 owners have spines of steel... until they reach a certain age.
