RS Wheel Center Cap Colors

Can someone advise as to the wheel center caps that came from the factory on white RS's with black wheels? I've gathered some confusing info thus far from my own research. Some white RS photos I've seen show black center caps with the standard (colored) Porsche crest with no RS script at all. Others show the black cap with the RS script also in black (almost disappears). When I talked to an OEM wheel retailer I was told that the black wheel center caps only come with the RS script in green or orange.

Thanks guys!

When I ordered my white 08 RS we ordered black wheels. I did not specify the center cap color, it came from the factory with Porsche crest which looks great. I have seen pictures of white RS's with black wheels and center caps with white RS in the middle, but most of the white cars have had the Porsche crest.

Thanks for that info. I just bought a white RS with silver wheels (still waiting for it's arrival) and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have the wheels powder coated black. I would love to find a way to get the black caps with white RS script. If anyone knows where I could find them I would be very grateful!

Try Bumper plugs, a site sponser, I think they offer custom center caps.

Many thanks. Will do. Did your RS come with black wheels or did you add them?

Sorry - just saw your earlier response about ordering them (duh).

I have a white RS with original black wheels, they came with the all black RS wheel caps.
Went ahead and painted the RS lettering with Carrera white followed up with clear lacquer. Quite a few people including myself think it looks much better, it sure breaks up the black disk look (wheels) when you look at the car from a distance. I first tried to buy these black caps with white RS letters but these black wheel caps are only available with orange or green lettering from Porsche.

Interesting. It seems that Porsche didn't have one standard way to deliver the black RS wheels. I agree with you that the white RS letters on the black caps are the way to go. Bumper Plug is the only place I've found thus far that can provide factory plugs with custom applied white lettering.

Nicely done - the yellow script looks great with the black! I've followed your lead and just ordered OEM black caps from Eric with white RS letters - which I hope will look terrific with the white car/black wheels.

Your info proved very helpful. Although I had already ordered my wheel caps from Bumper Plugs, while checking out the Suncoast website I found the factory RS side graphics I had been looking for. Thanks!

Thanks! I have a few other mods underway as well and will post before and after pics once they're all done.
