Will future cup cars have the 997.2 GT3 front and rear bumpers?

They look good too. I was surprised b/c they are heavier. Will the factory Cup cars switch to the 997.2 body and tail lights?

Pictures are always good..

I'm not gonna lie, i'd probably hardly EVER visit the Cup Car section if there was one, but I always click on cup car threads, go figure. So to me, there's just not enough interest to validate full section to itself.

Yes there is look at the people response to this section.
Maybe not like the Turbo section since CUP cars are made in very limited quantities but also Cup cars can provide good info for general 911 models.

Being that I'm trying to decide between getting a used Cup Car or building up a RS with cup car parts, I think a Cup Car section would be very helpful! Let's get the ball rolling on this one.

I'm not saying I'm against it, just that I don't think it is needed. Very little is written about the cup cars and their set-up etc because of the limited numbers of people who own them. You're right when you said that a lot of the info could be useful for other cars such as the GT3/RS or even other 911's such as Carrera and Turbo's as well since they can utilize many of the parts with some modification. But to me, that just validates all the more reason to keep them in the GT3/GT2/GT section of this forum where the mods can be utilized on non-cup cars. Heck, even the Carrera GT didn't get it's own sub-forum and is grouped in with the 911 variant GT cars. That being said, if there's a Cup Car section, what does that leave the GT3RSR, or the RS Spyder or any of the other Porsche Race cars, maybe we just need a Porsche Race Car section.

Lastly, about the response to this thread being indicative of how much interest a Cup Car section would drum up...it's only 2 pages long and nearly a week old. Most of the posts within these two pages have been posted multiple posts from the same people. Even the few people on here who actually own cup cars haven't really commented on the matter. I'm sorry, I just don't see the need for an entire sub-forum. If there was one, I wouldn't be upset about it, I just don't see the need.
