I'm doing some research and I want your opinions.

What would you look for in the "perfect" aftermarket shop?
A place where you can get upgrades to your car, a place to hang out, etc

Besides labor cost, what are things that you are looking for. this could be building design, lighting, tools, location, etc etc

I think most aftermarket automotive part shops I have dealt with lack the professionalism I expect when I am spending quite a bit of money on a relatively "blind" item. Deadlines and prices are never finalized until the very end, and whenever something goes wrong, someone else int eh channel is blamed. There has got to be a way to formalize the ordering process.

I think a nice "hang out" area is necessary to attract the clientelle you are probably seeking.
