Porsche factory option for "Wheels Painted Black"
]
I was thinking red, but now Im think Im going white. My turbo was white and it looked simply amazing!!

Ok ok..... Ive decided to go ahead and let porsche take care of it for $1600. I didnt think about the warranty aspect of it.
HOWEVER, the only thing I dont like is that the enitre wheel is not painted, only the spokes. Maybe if I paid them another $1600, they'll paint the whole wheel!

Warranty doesnt cover it. I have black rims from Porsche OEM with 19k miles with lots of pits, like never before on any of my other rims and they told me "No" normal road debris damage. I think I have to repaint them already.

My $0.02 on painting wheels, if you like the factory silver lip, then absolutely let Porsche do it. Personally, if I were going for black wheels I would want the entire wheel done, including the inner barrel, in which case I would save my money upfront to have it done myself later.
