Carrera GT - which Exhaust and more power??
We can and do offer a Ti system at this time, However the costs are much higher than a standard system.
There is no performance advantage over the stainless( other than weight). The difference between the GMGWC-GT system versus the Ti version would not be a drastic improvement.
The greatest perfromance advantage is going from the stock system to the GMG -WC-GT system.
We just did another CGT with the system last week....

Wow, you've got no idea how much I'm restraining myself from using a s*** ton of four letter words right now. That is absolutely ridiculous! How could you not get that system after hearing that clip which I'm sure sounds ten times better in person!
Man, I just got home from my buddies house. He bought #1021 and it is a phenomenal sound in person. The stock exhaust goes to the very core of my being. It is so sweet, I would never in a million years change it. Quite frankly, It is Godly... Man, If I could afford a CGT, I would never change that sound and would try to pump it into the cabin so as to hear it as I was piloting that machine!! Unbelievable the sound in person in tight quarters. To each his own I would guess!! Just my .02.. Kenny
you say you want to save weight... i agree with everyperson find a company that provides titanium exhaust with at least 3" pipe. sound will be there... its all about the welds the material and the resonator design w/in the exhaust system. if you can do it get rid of the cats and go straight pipes that will change the tone and increase the db's...
As an FYI there is only 1 primary catalyst on the CGT... There are no pre cats and secondary cats as found on some other vehicles.

See the one primary cat to left of the exhaust manifold.
Here is a pic of the manifold removed exposing the exhaust ports.
VERY F1...........
that sounds the best to me, but i'd probably go AWE Tuning for the performance and weight savings. i wouldn't want a loud 997tt for example, but a CGT is meant to be loud!
not sure if this link will work:

are there aftermarket headers available for the CGT? Seems like they'd be decently easy to manufacture. Just produce the same thing without the cat. I dont know if the CGT has any trick electronics for detecting cat failures, but i imagine the usual o2sim or cel eliminator methods would work, no?
looked at mine, you appear to be right, i can't locate a 2nd cat.
i was just going by the tech brochure and the workshop manual description, which state dual cats (per side, = 4 cats), and which makes sense since i thought you would need a pre-cat if you had headers.
