I like the look of Black wheels, makes the car look more aggressive.

I put my silver wheels on this weekend, guys at work are comment how different it looks.

The issue is going to be with the center caps. They are going to be different than traditional caps because of the center locking aspect of it.

When you get it done by Porsche, you get black center caps. If not, and you have them powder coated yourself, then youll have a black wheel with the "titanium" colored center cap that comes stock. Its not like you can just go out and pick up these caps anywhere in black either. just something to think about.....

i suppose, but i would think you can piant them vs powder. but then you would scratch the paint each time you change wheels.

I would otherwise recommend black powder coat, but avi8tir has a good point about the center caps on the new style wheel. The powder coat may not be a good idea.

NOOOOOO!!!!!!! Tell me thats wrong please! Where did you get that info from? Im planning of getting a 2009 delivery and pretty much thinking I will go with black OEM wheels! This is bad news for me if its true!

yup, got the same call from my dealer today - Porsche has delayed these until December. Sucks!!!!
