996 brake fluid reservoir filter

Does anyone know how to remove the little plastic filter basket that resides in the filler neck of the brake fluid reservoir? 2005 GT3 (996). Mine just spins around. Is it not removable ?

TIA

They are a PITA to get out, compared with previous Porsches or other cars. You basically just have to grip an edge with a small pliers. It kinda puts a little dent one the edge of the basket. Watch out for some brake fluid spray!

OMG, you are so right. I almost forgot how hard they are to remove. I almost destroy the damn filter while trying to remove it couple months ago lol
